Reading progress update: I've read 50%.
Right now, this is in 2-2.5 star territory. It's not entirely the book's fault, though. In a series where the previous three volumes featured Martian apes, psychic dinosaurs, pulp super heroes, and lots of timey wimey, it's hard to get excited about a talking ape in Hollywood, especially when Joe Lansdale knocked that particular ball out of the park with The Ape Man's Brother.
